Lineman Of PSPCL Arrested For Demanding Bribe

Punjab Vigilance Bureau today posted PSPCL at Amarkot sub division of Tarn Taran district. Lineman Dilbagh Singh has been arrested on the charge of asking for a bribe of Rs 5000.

Giving information in this regard, the spokesperson of the Vigilance Bureau said that Karamjit Singh, a resident of Valtoha village of Tehsil Patti (Taran Taran)

had lodged a complaint on the anti-corruption portal on 14-07-2023 that Gurnam Singh, a resident of his village. had contacted the lineman Dilbagh Singh to get the single phase transformer changed and the lineman demanded a bribe of Rs 5000 from him in exchange for this work. The complainant has also submitted the audio recording of the vigilance accused.
